​Most people don’t know that exterior painting is 90% preparation, and if it isn’t done right the entire paint job will be ruined.  We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and our prep work is part of that.

• Pressure Washing – mud, spiderwebs, bird droppings, and algae all has to come off or the paint won’t stick!
• Scraping – using a 5-in-1 tool we remove chips, cracks, and peeling paint.
• Sanding – power sanding all the ridges making the surface smooth to provide a smooth finish.
• Priming – exposed wood or anywhere we’ve heavily sanded needs to be primed.
• Filling holes – cracks are caulked and holes are filled.
• Surface replacements – sometimes the wood isn’t any good and we replace the pieces that won’t last the test of time.
• Painting – applying high-quality paint from companies like Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams.  These are premium paints that last and are not discount paints that only last a year or two.
